    MONSTEROUS MURDER!

              Ashley Barrett Fairfield Recorder Reporter

A murder was reported July 24, 2007 by Ms. Rasco-Johnson of

Fairfield, Texas. She claims that she was awakened at dawn by an

acidic odor. When Ms. Rasco-Johnson peered out her kitchen

window she saw an oddly colored smoke cloud she described as a

purple-gray rising from the courtyard of First Baptist Church. She

immediately called the police.

When officials arrived on the seen they were utterly unprepared for what they found. The body of a male was staked to the ground laid out like Jesus on the cross and burning rapidly. The firemen made haste but by the time the fire was out the skin tissue was severely damaged. The victim has yet to be identified.

An autopsy report show that the skeletal and muscle systems where damaged and had shown signs of a struggle. When specialist Dr. Jekyll came to examine both the muscle and skeletal systems they turned to dust under his finger tips. Doctors have no explanation.

His organ system was the strangest part of all. The cardiovascular system and most of the digestive system are white as if they had never touched a drop of blood. The doctors first thought was exposure to water but seeing as the victim was found burning it is quite unlikely.

The body had not been in flames for long yet the skin had burned remarkable fast which is unusual if there is not an accelerant present. So far there have been no signs of gasoline or other chemicals.

The evidence, if put in this order- staked, burning outside a church at dawn, strong, white organs, and quickly burned flesh- you come up with the impossible.

The real questions are, not who but what do we have here? What weight now sits on our shoulders? Is the legend of Dracula more than just a myth? Do blood drinkers, nosferatu, vampires, really walk among us? But most in importantly are vampires behind the mysterious disappearances and unsolved murders in our human world?

                    What is stalking Fairfield?

Now here is

RING AROUND THE ROSES

CH 1                             GONE

“Jake! Jake, I’m over here Jake” the young girls’ voice called from all around me. If I could just- “JAKE!”

“Taylor I’m coming. Where are you Taylor?” no response only dead silence. “Taylor?” “TAYLOR!” I shrieked as a roar of wind silenced my calls. Rain began falling heavily as I ran weaving in and out of trees searching for what could never be found. The shrill scream started suddenly echoing of trees turning me round and round until I was a heap of dead weight lying on the forest floor with one last shred of hope I screamed her name once more.

I sat strait up in my bed at my house in my home town. I was not lying on the floor of a forest. My head spun as I struggled to find conciseness. I stood much to quickly gripping the bed post for support I stumbled across my dark and cluttered room in the general direction of the bath room door.

I flicked on the light and griped the edge of the counter as I waited for the multi-colored spots to leave my eyes.

When all was clear I spun around to grab a wash rag from under the sink. As I bent down a new wave of dizziness crashed over me pulling me back under into unconsciousness. As I was being pull into the black hole created by my subconscious mind I saw a pale figure with hair like coal and eyes like roses she bore a conserned yet loving look on her face. She mustn’t have been looking at me no one can look at me like that no one could possible ever love a monster such as I.

As the figure began to fade so did my memory of her face as I slowly climbed the latter of out of the hole and into consciousness. When I again sufaced into the true world around me the first thought I had was, I have to get out of this place.
